To pursue BHMS courses in Indian colleges/ universities, aspirants should clear Class XII in the Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects.

In most cases, the minimum percentage that students require in Class XII should be 50% to 60%.

However, the minimum percentage criteria change depending on a college/ university policy.

Some universities may also have a minimum age bar like students aged between 17 to 21 and their BHMS eligibility criteria.

Candidates who fulfil the above eligibility criteria have to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and qualify for it. Admission to the BHMS course is through centralised counselling based on the NEET merit list.
