Ross Hanley Tree Services is a Harrogate-based tree surgery and garden care team with over 10 years of hands-on experience working across North Yorkshire. Based at Hill Top Farm, Fellbeck, we provide professional tree surgeon services to homeowners and businesses in York, Harrogate, Otley, Ripon, and the surrounding villages.

Our work covers the full range of tree care: tree felling, sectional dismantling, pruning, crown reduction and thinning, crown lifting, lateral reductions, and stump grinding — including large or restricted-access stumps. We also handle hedge cutting and reductions, site clearance, dangerous tree removal, and green waste timber removal, alongside seasoned logs cut and ready for the fire.

As a tree surgeon in York, we're regularly called out for garden and boundary tree work in and around the city, from routine crown maintenance to removing hazardous trees safely in tighter urban plots. For tree surgeons in Harrogate, we're on your doorstep — this is where we're based, and it's where the bulk of our tree surgery, hedge work, and 24-hour emergency call-outs happen day to day. Clients looking for a tree surgeon in Otley and a tree surgeon in Ripon also rely on us for the same standard of careful, methodical tree work, whether it's a single overgrown tree needing a crown reduction or a full site clearance.

We offer a 24-hour emergency call-out service across Harrogate and North Yorkshire for storm damage, fallen branches, and other urgent tree hazards — because dangerous tree situations don't wait for office hours.

Every job is assessed on-site before we start, and we're happy to talk through options if what you need isn't listed here — if it's not something we cover ourselves, we'll point you toward someone who can help. Beyond tree surgery, we also offer full landscaping, garden features (decking, pergolas, water features), and fencing, making us a genuine one-stop option for garden and grounds care across the region.
