Business Description
In Oman, a foreign company may establish a branch office for the purpose of carrying on business in the Sultanate. The Commercial Companies Code of 1974, Commercial Register Law, and the Commercial Agencies Law, as amended by Royal Decree 73/96, govern such activities. The branches of foreign companies are not limited to Omani companies, but may also have rights that are not available to Omani companies.
