LUT Generator is a browser-based tool for developing a reusable color look from a source photo or standard dynamic range video frame and a reference image. Compare the initial match, refine exposure, contrast, saturation and intensity, then test the result on several representative scenes before reuse. A .cube table can be imported by compatible photo and video editors.

Local reference matching and optional AI assistance are separate features. AI can suggest color adjustments; it does not replace review of faces, neutral objects, highlights or smooth gradients. Original media stays local. Optional AI requests send reduced previews, and exports send a color table for credit verification. Not every interaction is offline.

Matching, fine-tuning and PNG previews are free. Custom .cube exports use credits; free previews do not mean unlimited free exports. Log and HDR footage need the appropriate technical workflow in the receiving editor. A reference-based look cannot recreate lighting or restore clipped detail.
