Family Mediation Newcastle provides family mediation across Newcastle upon Tyne, from Jesmond and Gosforth to Heaton and the wider Tyne and Wear area. We help couples and parents who are separating or divorcing to resolve disagreements about their children and their finances without going to court. The first step is a MIAM, an individual meeting that explains your options and is normally required before a family court application. Our mediators, all accredited by the Family Mediation Council, then support you through child arrangements mediation, financial and property mediation, or all-issues mediation that deals with everything at once. We offer appointments in person at Shieldfield, online across the North East, and by shuttle for higher-conflict situations where separate rooms are safer. Whatever you decide can be set out in a parenting plan or made legally binding with a consent order.
