Dr. Mayukh Guha is the first National Board (NBE) certified spine surgeon in Siliguri and North Bengal with over 8 years of experience in exclusive spine surgery. After completing his MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College in Kolkata, he did his Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopaedics from the famous Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi. Safdarjung Hospital, the biggest central government hospital in India, gave him the opportunity to treat numerous patients of spinal disorders and perform extensive spine surgeries over a period of 5 years. His love for spine surgery prompted him to clear the entrance exam and pursue Fellowship of National Board/ FNB (the only NMC recognised spine fellowship in India) in the prestigious Indian Spinal Injuries Centre in New Delhi. He has also completed various other fellowships and has been trained in minimally invasive spine surgery, robotic and navigation assisted spine surgery as well as scoliosis correction surgery. With numerous international and national level research publications in his name, he always wishes to be updated and involved in the academic field as well. For a brief period of time, he worked as a professor in a medical college in Kishanganj, Bihar and also performed the first C1-C2 fixation, kyphosis correction in ankylosing spondylitis, cervical corpectomy in that region. He has performed the first Atlantoaxial(C1 - C2) Spondyloptosis reduction and fusion surgery in Northern part of Bengal as well. As a son of the soil, he is fully committed in delivering dedicated exclusive spine care to the people of Siliguri and North Bengal.
